| The events section of each town's Community Bulletin Board is available for the free posting of events open to the public, such as community parades, church festivals, holiday functions, charity fund raisers, auditions, sporting events, cultural events, etc. To take advantage of this opportunity to promote community activities, e-mail your listing to patriam@att.net at least 1 week prior to the desired posting date. It is important to specify the town(s) on the subject line and include the posting dates in the note. In addition, you should provide an e-mail address so you can be contacted if there are any questions. Example: To: patriam@att.net Subject: etowns bulletin board: (insert town) Contact: (email address) Posting dates: Content: (plain text listing that can be pasted as written to the Bulletin Board) Note that this is a short bulletin only with the sponsoring organization, event, date, time, and place. It is also appropriate to post a price (if applicable), a phone number or address for those who wish additional information, and directions. Mass mailings, wordy press releases, or listings with images, attachments or hyperlinks to other web sites will not be accepted. Since this is a free service, please understand that we cannot write your listing for you. |
